Jiu jian, also known as Kenno O is a local multi talented artist. Jiu Jian start his music career back in 1989's Xin Yao Festival, show
casing his vocal and music writing talents.
He was awarded 'Best Song Award' in 1990 during his 2nd year in Xin Yao Festival. Since than, Jiu Jian has release more than 4 solo mandarin albums, performed/composed/ produced 6 TCS Channel 8 drama serials, gaining raved reviews in his roles in Michael Chiang mandarin version of 'Private Part' and 1st local mandarin musical ‘December Rain’ acting opposite local veteran actress Xiang Yun. Throughout his writing years he has penned songs for HK heavenly king Jacky Cheung, Ronald Chen, Andy Xu and many more, his mandarin composition '7 days In the desert' won the 'Beat Singles' in year 1999, awarded by 'The Taiwan Song Writer Society', and was the only local composition. |
