As a non-profit arts organisation, financial sustainability has constantly been a challenge to us. Your kind donation will contribute to the local arts scene and help DES go a long way as we continuously strive to remain relevant and sustainable.
The Cultural Matching Fund (CMF) is a fund set up by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) to provide dollar-for-dollar (1:1) matching grants for private cash donations to arts and heritage charities. It aims to encourage giving to our arts and heritage sector to create a more sustainable arts and heritage scene. The CMF will match monetary donations DES receives from individuals, foundations and corporations. Donations to DES at $200 and above are eligible for 250% tax deduction (automatically included in your tax assessment), and the donor will be acknowledged in our performance magazines.
